Accreditation

ISL was established 1963 in the Lusaka Showgrounds, close to its present location. From a small beginning ISL has grown into one of the largest international schools in Africa with a student population of around 650, supported by over 60 educators.

CIS-NEASC School Evaluation and Accreditation is an evaluation process that drives a school’s continuous improvement through rigorous evaluation against internationally agreed standards, a blend of support and challenge, and a focus on school development. The accreditation process is based on a peer-based model that brings together international educators from across the world of CIS and NEASC accredited schools. To find out more about the accreditation process, visit CIS Accreditation.
