ISL is accredited by two international organisations, Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
How can ISL demonstrate a commitment to high quality international education to parents, students and staff members? How do we ensure that ISL is continually improving and keeping up with the best international education standards? ISL seeks to ensure a positive answer to those questions by being accredited by CIS and NEASC.
CIS School Evaluation and Accreditation is an evaluation process that drives a school’s continuous improvement, through:
- rigorous evaluation against internationally-agreed standards;
- a blend of support and challenge, focused on a school’s development; and
- a peer-based model that brings together international educators from across the world of CIS-accredited schools who visit the school and check that it is meeting the CIS standards and benchmarks.

ISL has been accredited by CIS since 1997 and we are extremely pleased to be granted re-accreditation status in 2017.
