Welcome back to all the IGCSE students and parents. As our students embark on this journey, I wish them good luck!
The 2017 IGCSE results were very good. Statistics for this year’s performance compare quite well with the previous years. The top student for ISL scored A* in all subjects - indeed, an exceptional performance which we are all proud of! Nearly 52% of our students scored a grade B or above and nearly 73% of our students scored a grade C or above. We would like to congratulate them and their teachers on this strong performance.
The Year 10 students, both new and returning, seem very excited to be in high school and have settled down with their subject choices. I wish them well as they begin their two-year program of studies.
The Year 11 students are now half way through the rigorous IGCSE journey. These few months leading up to their exams will be demanding, and I encourage them to make their studies a top priority, while also balancing their social and extracurricular lives.
Student welfare is our top priority, and I look forward to working closely with our students and parents to ensure that their learning experience is fun and meaningful, and that it leads to successful final exams.
